Strengthen As You Recover

As you spin Powerball, its isometric resistance engages the entire kinetic chain of the arm, which has two important effects:

1. Rehab: Circulation is increased, meaning oxygen and healing nutrients are driven to the injured medial tendons in the elbow. These nutrients directly target any tears in the tendons and act quickly to relieve pain and repair damage.

2. Strengthening: All of the muscles in your forearm are activated. Powerball’s resistance delves deep into tissue fibres, strengthening each muscle from its core and building overall muscle mass from fingertip to shoulder.

This active combination of rehabilitation and strengthening means you benefit from shorter recovery times, without having to compromise on effective, long-lasting golfer’s elbow treatment. Kick off your recovery today with Powerball. All it takes is 3 minutes a day to start seeing the powerful effects of this unique gyroscope.

Powerball’s isometric resistance is 100% non-impact meaning it places absolutely zero additional strain on sore or damaged tendons in the elbow. You control your recovery: choose the speed and intensity of your golfer’s elbow treatment simply by spinning Powerball faster or slower – the choice is yours. With this in mind, you need never worry about over-exerting yourself or worsening your injury when you exercise with Powerball.

Reduce Stiffness & Increase Flexibility

Spinning Powerball promotes the production of synovial fluid, which lubricates the elbow joint and alleviates any stiffness that may have developed as a result of your condition. Increase range of motion, build flexibility and reduce stiffness – it’s as easy as picking up a Powerball. Even from the very first use of Powerball, you will begin to feel the difference as muscle stiffness and tendon pain start to break down in the elbow joint.

Prevent Golfer’s Elbow

Not only is Powerball highly effective for golfer’s elbow treatment, but it can also be used to prevent the injury from occurring (or reoccurring) in the future. Think of it as an extra layer of body armour for your upper limbs: spinning Powerball for as little as 3 minutes a day is enough to significantly strengthen the muscles and tendons in your elbow. Strong and supple muscles and tendons are much less likely to be affected by golfer’s elbow, so you can continue to maintain an active lifestyle without ever having to worry about this condition reoccurring again.

Causes: What is golfer’s elbow?

Golfer’s elbow (or medial epicondylitis) is a condition affecting the medial epicondyle (the small, bony lump on the inside of your elbow). Also known as ‘climber’s elbow’, this condition doesn’t just affect golfers and climbers, but really anyone who regularly engages in activities that rely heavily on elbow movement. Usually golfer’s elbow will appear as a dull pain in the elbow joint, which is sometimes mistaken for overexertion. And because golfer’s elbow develops gradually and does not usually cause swelling or inflammation, it can sometimes be difficult to diagnose. It is recommended that you seek medical advice if you think you may be suffering from golfer’s elbow.

Golfer’s elbow can sometimes be mistaken for tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis). It is important to understand which condition you have before beginning your golfer’s elbow treatment. Click here to read more about tennis elbow treatment.

A WORD FROM THE PROFESSIONALS

Our physiotherapists like to use Powerball to strengthen the entire arm but in particular the forearm muscles. Powerball is really effective in the case of lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) or golfer’s  elbow (medial epicondylitis) or any weakness of the upper limb. It is really good for endurance (stamina) too. We treat a lot of golfers and it is really good to improve the grip strength.

GOLFER'S ELBOW TROUBLES? POWERBALL IT AWAY.

I’ve been suffering with Golfers Elbow for some time and use my Powerball when it gets really uncomfortable, I exercise with Powerball for a couple of minutes then, as if by magic the aches ease away and my arm is trouble free for about a week. No permanent cure yet, but 2 weeks totally rested and filled with Ibuprofen didn’t provide a medical cure either. At least this Powerball gives me around a week of pain relief for a couple of minutes of exercise, and virtually instant too.

***** Updated – very rarely have problem with my Golfers Elbow / Tendinitis, however, when I do, no medication required, I just use this ball until I get a burning sensation, I repeat as required over the following few days until the tendinitis has gone – son still uses the Powerball too it improves his grip and strength in his hands and arms for Mountain and Downhill biking. *****

TENNIS ELBOW FROM OVER-USE OF A LAPTOP?
PROBLEM SOLVED

I got tennis elbow from constantly using my laptop and it was a major issue. It got so bad, I couldn’t lift a glass of water using my right arm, my elbow would just give way. I started some exercise to help strengthen and rebuild but it was hard going, causing me more injury at times.

I got really fed up with the pain and having a useless arm, especially since I am right handed, so I went searching online for something better and discovered Powerball®. I used it regularly and it really has given strength back and reduced my pain considerably, a fantastic outcome. It’s all taken only a few weeks so it’s a great result as I suffered for months before this.

I find that Powerball works very efficiently to both strengthen grip and rehab arm conditions for sportspeople and patients. Additionally, I find Powerspin to be highly beneficial for shoulder and upper back rehabilitation.

You will notice a difference in days.

“The repetitive movements of tennis regularly result in wrist, elbow and shoulder strains. 3 years ago one of our players began using a Powerball to help rehabilitate a wrist injury. I was highly sceptical about what this spinning ball could do and so was well surprised when it helped greatly speed their recovery. Since then we’ve been using Powerball for both rehabilitation and strengthening of our player’s arms and wrists.

It takes a little practice to get the movement right but once you perfect the technique and follow a simple programme you will definitely notice a positive difference in days.”
